On the whole, the term “Service” refers to a series of actions the Ministry takes to address a human need (human event).
The Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs relate to actions the Ministry undertakes in relation to citizens (both Greek and foreign) and to undertakings in the context of issues of its responsibility.
The unit Services presents the services offered by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs along with guidelines for their implementation, and information on communication points with the competent Authority of the Ministry.
Services are in the process of being offered in electronic form so that this site become a point where services are provided on line to visitors.
This site is updated by a competent body created specifically for this purpose. This body sees to the consistent, reliable and timely updating of the site’s content, in full cooperation with the Political Leadership and the Directorates of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The administrative structure of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is organized along two thematic entities:
a) The Central Services of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, which include Directorates, Departments and Agencies established in its headquarters.
b) The Overseas Authorities, which include Consulates and Embassies and which constitute the Ministry’s services based in countries with which Greece maintains official bilateral relations.
You can contact the Ministry of Foreign Affairs through one of the Administrative Authorities (falling into one of the two above categories) which has competence over the issue concerning you.
