Statements of FM Droutsas following the first meeting of the Foreign Ministry’s new leadership

Team is the right word. Teamwork. This is, in my view, what we always had in mind.

What I simply want to say about the Foreign Ministry is that we managed to create and maintain the necessary stability in our region; this is important; give Greece its voice again, ensure its presence, help develop Greece’s international standing again through our own moves.

I think we achieved that. I think we laid very good foundations in order to move forward.
