The OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Greek Foreign Minister Dora Bakoyannis, said today she was deeply concerned by the deadly explosion last night in Peshawar, Pakistan, noting that it was a serious threat to the region's fragile stability.

The suicide attack killed at least 15 people, including two United Nations employees.

"I express my condolences to the families of those killed, and I extend my wishes for speedy recovery to the victims who were injured in this criminal act," she said. "I am deeply disturbed by the attack, which further deteriorates the region's security."
