The government and people of Greece cannot but be moved by the incredible humanitarian disaster that has hit Myanmar/Burma.

Instructions have already been given for the immediate provision of $200,000 in humanitarian aid. Additionally, in cooperation with the Ministry of the Interior, we are awaiting the relevant permission to send an airplane carrying medicine and humanitarian aid. At this time, the authorities have not yet opened the country’s airports. As soon as the airports are open, Greece will send its aid.
